What sets Flourish Cake Design apart? It’s the experience I provide to my clients and my years of expertise, along with custom details and sugar flowers you won't find anywhere else. And the best part: flavor and quality that exceeds your expectations.

I provide a true one-on-one experience from your first inquiry through your wedding day. As a Flourish Cake Design client, you will have one point of contact (that’s me!) from the initial tasting and consultation, to the design and creation your cake, to delivery and set-up for final display at your reception. A very limited number of projects each month are booked, in order to give my full attention and energy to each and every client.

Sugar flowers are my art and the essence of my cake design process. They are beautifully handcrafted and one-of-a-kind. Flowers on your cake are part of the design, and sugar flowers allow me to fully realize the intended flow, color story, and movement of your creation. There are many reasons not to use fresh flowers on cakes: not kept in food safe conditions, toxic or poisonous varieties, prone to wilting, etc. But it’s more about “why sugar” rather than “why not fresh”. I exclusively use sugar flowers on my cakes, but will work directly with your florist to match your fresh florals as closely as possible. I offer preservation of sugar flowers in cloches or shadowboxes so you can enjoy your flowers for decades to come.

Every cake I create at Flourish Cake Design is custom and one-of a kind. It is designed specifically for you, with you. Together, we can pull inspiration from anywhere to make your cake as unique as you and your partner. I love incorporating other elements into your design, such as your flowers, details on your dress/sari/suit, graphics from your invitations, or architectural details from your venue. Or, consider a painting you love, a place you visited together, your families’ traditions/heritage…the sky is the limit.
