Sugar Flowers with Bria - Beginner
Come learn the art of sugar flowers this spring! This three-day class with cake designer and sugar flower artist Bria Helgerson will guide you through the basics of gum paste floral art. Together we will learn how to make different types of flowers, foliage, and other fillers such as berries and vines. Each student will create a beautiful shadowbox to take home and enjoy forever! No previous gum paste experience is needed for this class.
The Details
Class will be held April 10th, 11th, 12th (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) from 9:00-4:00 with lunch provided each day.
Small group - max 6 students.
Flowers may include (subject to alteration):
Hydrangeas, cosmos, sweet peas, stock, lavender, leaves, and berries
Students will create and take home a beautiful shadowbox displaying their handmade sugar flowers.
All tools & materials needed will be provided for use during class.
Flourish Cake Design is located in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago, IL and is easily accessible by public transportation and free parking is abundant.

Cancellation Terms
Cancellations will not receive a refund unless there is a waiting list. If you need to cancel and there is not a waiting list, we will try our best to apply your payment towards a future workshop.
Class is subject to cancellation by Flourish if minimum capacity is not met, in this case, all booked students will receive a full refund.
